1. Who we are

LengPrep is a language-learning application available at lengprep.app and as an Android app on Google Play. For privacy questions contact: [email protected].

2. Data we collect

• Account data: email address and password (handled by Supabase Auth; passwords are hashed and never visible to us).
• Learning progress: completed lessons, test results, XP, streaks, saved words and flashcards — stored to sync your progress across devices.
• Preferences: interface language, selected learning language, theme — stored locally on your device and in your profile.
• AI chat messages: messages you send to the AI tutor are processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate responses. They are not used to build advertising profiles.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers, and we do not sell personal data.

3. How we use data

• To provide the service: lessons, tests, progress sync, AI conversations.
• To maintain security and prevent abuse (e.g., daily AI usage limits).
• To manage Pro subscriptions purchased on our website.

4. Third-party services

• Supabase — database and authentication (EU-hosted infrastructure).
• Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery.
• Anthropic — AI responses in the chat and speaking features.
• Google Fonts — font delivery.

5. Data retention and deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing [email protected]. Deletion is completed within 30 days.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA you have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Bulgaria: the Commission for Personal Data Protection, cpdp.bg).

7. Children

LengPrep is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; the current version is always available at lengprep.app/privacy.html.
